The rapper has been out and about attending his weekend gigs, and he revealed that coming back home has not been easy due to the present atmosphere in the country. Taking to Instagram, K.O. said that driving into Joburg just after protests have started has been frightening.

Mr Cashtime said that he managed to arrive safe but he has urged responsible South Africans to remain safe during these difficult times. “Driving back to JHB in AM’s shortly after protests kicked off was spooky but we made it safely. Dear Beloved SA I wish you peace and prosperity during these times,” wrote the SkhandaWorld boss.

The security of SA rappers has been under siege following the killing of AKA and Tibz outside the Wish Restaurant in Durban. AKA and K.O have been working on a song together prior to the death of the former. Mr Cashtime notified the fans that his song with the slain rapper will be released at the right in a bid to respect the mourning period.

The veteran rapper is currently working towards the release of the SETE remix which has prompted mixed reactions amongst SA hip-hop fans. The rapper stated that he wants to integrate West and East Africa and that Oxlade and Diamond Platinumz contribute something organic to the remix.

“I chose Oxlade and Diamond Platnumz because I wanted to make it organic, and they both bring the West and East of Africa together which is what I had hoped for.” He said. Not only is he working towards the release of SETE Remix, but the rapper also promised to release an album this year.
