K.O Addresses Claims That He Was Robbed Off A ‘Song Of The Year’ Award At The #SAHHA2019. Who would you say deserved the Song Of The Year Award?

If there’s one thing that has proven to be the major cause of chaos and controversy it’s the award ceremonies. Not from artists but from fans expressing who deserved the award or who didn’t.

South African Hip Hop Awards 2019 were no excaption to the cause of controversial views. Amongst many opinions that have been making rounds in the internet, one of them was how K.O was more deserving of the Song Of The Year Award for Supa Dupa. The award went to Yanga Chief for uTatakho.

Upon reading views from his supporters talking against Yanga’s winning and how it belonged to him, K.O decided to address them.

“To be clear, no I wasn’t RoBbEd! I didn’t campaign at all & went into #SAHHA2019 consciously expecting nothing. My focus was more on killing my #SupaDupa performance last night.”

He added on to advise his fans to not slander other artists, especially in his name. In this case Yanga Chief.

“Ola… in light of the #SAHHA2019 I wanna congratulate all the winners, great run this year y’all!

Now, as much as I appreciate the disappointment expressed by some of my supporters, I hereby urge y’all not to slander the artists who rightfully won in the process,” he added.

Wrapping up his address the rapper he stressed how appreciative he is at achieving what he has in the last 3 years.
