K.O Shares Disappointment At Nasty C Being The Last SA Hip Hop Super Star! The SA Hip Hop industry is one of the biggest industry in SA Music at the moment.
Although the genre has been blossoming of a few names, SA Hip Hop’s growth has been rather minimal. It has produced a few big names but the biggest rappers were all brought out in the period before 2015.
In that period, we saw mega stars in SA Hip Hop emerge like Cassper Nyovest and Nasty C who have sustained their careers until now. K.O was interviewed on Slikour On Life’s The Balcony Interview were he spoke about the current state of SA Hip Hop music.
Speaking on the matter, K.O shared how he feels like he sees himself as a vessel for for SA Hip Hop. “Think about it, the last big superstar that the game has seen was Nasty. This is 2015-16, that is disappointing. I mean in the states we have even Da Baby who is jumping right now,” said K.O speaking in the interview.
