Nasty C’s ‘SMA’ Proves To Be SA Hip Hop’s Biggest Song In Sales This Year! Nasty C has time and time again proved why he is a heavyweight in the SA Hip Hop industry.
The rapper dropped his album Strings And Bling a little over a year ago and has since received multiple plaques for his singles like King, Jungle and SMA. He continues to add plaques to his wall as his music continues to grow and sell.
Tonight (27 November) Universal Music Group South Africa held its award ceremony giving its artists plaques for sales on their music. At the award ceremony, Nasty C got awarded to plaques in his absence for his efforts on Boity’s Wuz Dat and his own SMA.
It was revealed that SMA has just reached 5 times platinum a little over a year after its release meaning it has sold over 100,000 in sales. The song has gotten over 22,2 million streams since release becoming the rappers biggest song from the album and in SA Hip Hop over the last year since it dropped as a single from the project.
