Priddy Ugly isn’t letting up even if the year is almost drawing to a close!
This Friday, November 8, 2019, Priddy will debut his sixth solo project, G.O.A.T (Glory On Any Territory). This will also be his first solo project since the 2018 release of E.G.Y.P.T. (Deluxe). Between anticipating fatherhood, his recent nuptials, a successful new collaboration with his wife and musical partner Bontle, and now new music, 2019 has been a trip for Priddy.
On the topic of the changes in his life, this is what Priddy Ugly has to say:
My supporters and fans have been asking me for a Priddy Ugly project all year. I wanted to take a break from producing solely Hip-Hop music in 2019. I dropped two projects under Rick Jade this year, and these projects allowed me to tap into the softer side of my artistry, music that was more commercial and “radio-friendly.”
My supporters still longed for the hard rap shit and 14 years later I still have a lot to prove; especially as far as my raps and lyrical capabilities are concerned. This project focuses almost entirely on lyricism. G.O.A.T. has a lot of substance – and it’s aggressive!
