Cassper Nominated For The Kid’s Choice Awards! Cassper Nyovest begun his year on a high note bagging the Best Hip Hop artist of the year award at the Soundcity MVP Awards. The rapper went on to score a deal with Coca Cola to collaborate with Jason Derulo on this years World Cup theme song.
The nominees for the Nickelodeon Kid’s Choice Awards were recently revealed with a couple of South Africans making the cut. Cassper Nyovest, Caster Simenya and Black Coffee are the few South Africans who got nominated this year. Cassper and Caster were nominated in the Favorite African Star category.
Black Coffee was nominated in one of the biggest categories at the award ceremonies for Favorite Global Music Star. Nickelodeon’s Kid’s Choice Awards are a very popular Kid’s Award show globally. We have had other South Africans like Bonang Matheba and Anele Mdoda winning at the awards but never a local Hip Hop artist. Could this all be changing this year with Mufasa’s nomination?
