What Jimmy Wiz Had To Say To Rappers Nominated With Him At The SAHHA 2019 ‘Lyricist Of The Year’ Category. Last week the South African Hip Hop Awards released the nominations list which gave shine to certain acts for the first time.
Rapper Jimmy Wiz is one of the acts nominated for the time in the SAHHA awards. He is nominated in the category of Lyricist of the year, competing against Reason, YoungstaCPT, Ginger Trill and PDoto.
Jimmy took to Twitter to share his appreciation for the debut nomination. In the tweet he also sent an S/O to rappers he’s nominated with.
“My First Award Nomination Since I started this‼️ lord knows my heart man.. This just made my Day?? Im So happy,” he wrote.
“S/O to my Fellow nominees .@ReasonHD .@PdotO_SA .@ginger_trill .@YoungstaCpt yall deserve this just as much, and an honour to stand with yall here.”
One would think there would be bitterness amongst artists for being nominated in the same categories, but so far no one has come with a negative vibe. Even Gigi told fans to vote for Nadia Nakai in the same category they nominated in of Best Female.
