Big Zulu is an official ambassador for Brentwood NY. His image can be seen on billboards, buses, taxis and taxi ranks across the country.
After winning Best Freshman at the South African Hip Hop Awards (SAHHA), Big Zulu got a Stylin Dreads Hair products endorsement which shot his “Ak’laleki” music video featuring Kwesta.
Big Zulu is one of the judges on the SABC 1 Hip Hop show “One Mic” playing every Thursday at 6pm.
As an actor, he has also earned some roles on “Isibaya”, “Isithembiso”, and most recently “Uzalo”.
Big Zulu’s single “Iskhali Samashinga – 100 Bars” was the most downloaded song on Slikouronlife everyday for 4 months.
The single was followed by his album “Ungqongqoshe Wongqongqoshe” which earned him a Best Male and Album of the Year nominations at South African Hip Hop Awards 2019, where he also performed a Song of the Year nominated song “Ama-Million” with Cassper Nyovest and Musiholiq.
In 2019 Big Zulu was the only musician chosen for the Creative Conquerers campaign which had his music on Bus Stops and Basketball courts around the City of Johannesburg.
He also embarked on a Stylin City Art Tour for the same campaign.
