As the #MTVBaseHottestMc List keep taking a beating over and over, Mufasa did not mince his words over his disappointment with this annual list. A huge source of his disregard for this list stemed from Nadia being listed on number 10 after a year of great strides for the female MC who dropped an album this year and had major brand collaborations and awards. 

Cassper rubbished the list by calling it “some Joburg sh*t with fok*l credibility and significance”

His full tweet read “Its just some Joburg shit bro. Nothing more than a “who is the most liked rapper in Joburg right now” typa thing wang thola? It’s great T.v doe. Very intriguing. Makes the fans talk. We need that. As long as the culture is talking. In terms of credibility and significance? FOKOL”

The rapper sentiments were also aired by Rowlene who said “this list makes my year… yawl keep falling for this shit ? its soooo enterraining.. letting people with half your accomplishments judge you respect yourselves .. stop it “
