Here’s What It Would Take For AKA To Forgive Burna Boy! AKA and Burna Boy have a rather long history creating hit records like All Eyes On Me and Baddest together.
It seems their friendship ended with the xenophobia scandal that they were involved in earlier this year. A series of tweets shared by AKA commenting on a football match between Nigeria and South Africa had the Supa Mega in bad books with several Nigerian artists like Burna Boy, Ice Prince and YCEE who translated them as xenophobic.
Burna Boy then went on to tweet insulting AKA and even threatening him saying the next time they cross paths, AKA should have security with him for protection. It seems AKA is not one to quickly to forget comments like that and took the chance to remind Burna Boy of their rivalry after it had been announced that he will be coming to South Africa for a performance.
AKA tweeted saying that he would love to attend the concert just to see Burna Boy try to fight him in his own country. A fan then went on to suggest that he should just “bury the hatchet” with Burna Boy.
“I wouldn’t mind at all … he must just apologize so we can forgive him,” tweeted the rapper responding to the fans requests.
