Ebro Darden Releases A Play List Of African Hip Hop Artists To Feature On Apple Beats 1, Fans Don’t Look Too Impressed

Ebro Darden Releases A Play List Of African Hip Hop Artists To Feature On Apple Beats 1, Fans Don’t Look Too Impressed. Another controversy has brewed up in Hip hop.

If you a fan of Hip hop you well aware of how passionate you get at times when it comes to the music and artists. The flair of these intense emotions have lately been displayed when American media personality Ebro Darden released a list.

It’s not so much about the list Ebro shared but about the people he didn’t include on the list. Ebro is a Host to Apple Beats 1 on a slot discussing everything Hip hop. He decided to spice up the show by creating a playlist of Hip hop musicians from Africa. Included was Nasty C, Cassper, Kwesi Arthur, Shane Eagle, YCee, Vector and Juls.

When hip hop enthusiasts saw that certain names weren’t included they complained, the name that popped up constantly was of multi award winning rapper Sarkodie. Others felt that the list was a bit unfair because it consisted of rappers only from Nigeria, Ghana and South Africa.

“At 430P EST …. we going ALL African HipHop…Shane Eagle, Nasty C, Vector, Casper, Kwesi Arthur, YCEE and Juls, Ms. Banks. On @AppleMusic … Say ‘Hey Siri Play Beats1..'” wrote Ebro.
