“I never hated Burna Boy” – AKA Clarifies

“I never hated Burna Boy” – AKA Clarifies. It has been months already since certain South Africans expressed their dislike for Nigerian singer Burna Boy. It all began with the way he reacted to a tweet by AKA which was perceived as “Xenophobic”.

Burna Boy has been cancelled on a number of occasions in SA, some even presumed that the beef wasn’t precisely about SA Xenophobic attacks but AKA. Even when he was given chance to apologize for his tweets he didn’t. When he was scheduled to perform in SA, AKA tweeted about how he was expecting him to beat him up as he assured him on Twitter. For that and more it was concluded that the two are beefing.

To shed clarity on the news AKA said that he doesn’t hate Burna Boy he was simply standing up for his country.

“I never hated Burna Boy. All I did was stand up for my country. I think it’s time to move past this narrative. It’s tired. Like I said, even a nomination is a huge achievement,” said Supa Mega replying to a tweet about Burna’s Grammy nomination.

He added on by calling Burna a champion.

“What you should have done is focus on the positive instead of thinking about me and my country. In any case, Burna is still a champion. We still consider him a winner, ” he added replying on a deleted tweet.

So there you have it, chances of AKA and Burna Boy reconciling seem high despite the pressure from the masses.
