New Beef Alert In SA Hip Hop: Duncan And His Manager Depart On A Bitter Note

New Beef Alert In SA Hip Hop: Duncan And His Manager Depart On A Bitter Note. In just a few days since the year began SA Hip Hop is hit with a scandal of a beef that reached a sour ending.

KZN based rapper Duncan parted ways with his manager Ngane Sikobi. Speaking to Move! Magazine Skuva explained what caused the abrupt decision which led to cancellation of the partnership of record labels.

Duncan told Move! that Ngane has been taking bookings under the presence that they are still working together.

“He kicked me out of the Facebook page and I only realised later in 2019,” says Duncan.

“He then continued to take bookings on my behalf and requesting promoters to send him the deposit money. That is theft.”

Duncan went on to say that he reported the matter to Facebook but he has not yet been able to retrieve his page.

“You know Facebook takes forever to attend queries. I am avoiding going to open a case with the police. I just want my account back and we can go our separate ways,” he added.

Sikobi did not deny taking over the page on Facebook and said it so boldly that he will not be returning it.

“It was a fan page and not an account. Duncan has his personal account,” he told the magazine.

“I created the fan page and I had every right to deactivate it. It was a company fan page that I used to promote his work. I put time and money on the page getting him fans and boosting some posts using my money. So when we stopped working together; I deactivated it. He can create his own fan page.”

Ngane further denied asking Duncan for R90k for the page.

“He doesn’t have R90 000, why would I ask him for money he doesn’t have,” he revealed.

“Duncan must stop playing games on social media, he is an old man now. He just needs to get into the studio and make a killer hit. It’s 2020, he needs to focus or he will blink and it will be November if he wastes his energy on negativity. I wish him all the best,” Ngane added.

The Sikelela rapper emphasized on social media that there is no way he will be working with Ngane again.

Sikobi also went got into a heated conflict with Zakwe who was signed on his stable back in 2016 which led to the sour separation.
