Scoop To AKA “I Would Urge Him To Find Truth And Go Give That Truth To That Woman’s Family”

Scoop To AKA “I Would Urge Him To Find Truth And Go Give That Truth To That Woman’s Family”. The passing of Anele Tembe has left AKA in a harsh spotlight with the public having plenty of questions surrounding her death. The rapper recently appeared on a Tell All Interview.

On the most recent episode of the Popcast, Ms Cosmo and Scoop Makhathini hosted Helen Herimbi as their guest. The three dove into a wide range of topics that have been trending recently including the 27th annual SAMAs, Thuso Mbedu’s appearance on The Underground Rail Road as well as AKA‘s interview that set social media alight before, during and after the interview.

Whilst in conversation about the interview, Scoop asked Ms Cosmo and Helen if they had watched the interview and they both responded yes leaving Scoop the only one on the panel who hadn’t seen it. He mentioned that doing the job of watching the interview is hard for him to do. He also says that things like interviews and media don’t matter to him and believes that one is obligated to go to the family and be honest with them.

He said, “I am obligated to be honest to the family for their child’s sake and for my peace sake. Cause he still has to sleep and wake up, he still has to move on he still has to be in tact as a father for his daughter, and a partner with his baby’s moms. If he cannot resolve this honestly for himself and the family of uAnele, never mind the fans, never mind the career, never mind everything else… He will never find peace out of the situation.

As a friend, as a person who is a fan, as a person who is a black man who understands culture. I’m appealing to him for his rehabilitation, for his retribution, for his resolution. I would urge him to find truth and go give that truth to that woman’s family, that is all I want out of this situation. I don’t know about music right now, I don’t know about pushing product right now. I don’t know about performances right now, I don’t know about even social media right now. I don’t know about doing one on one interviews right now.
