Rashid Kay has made a name for himself as one of the rappers who holds back no view point no matter who it is directed to. This time around he let Burna Boy fans know that he really isn’t the Greatest Artist In Africa as they proclaimed.

A fan tweeted : ” So burna boy stands a very huge chance to win the Grammy?? 5 years ago the African giant wasn’t even rated above patoranking…. If buurnaboy wins this award . He would be the greatest African artiste ever just behind fela and wizkid.”

Despite the drama that surrounded Burna Boy in South Africa which led to major chaos, The SA Hip Hop Awards co-founder felt he wasn’t worthy to be called the greatest artist in Africa.

Kay used reason of how SA has a number of 8 Grammy award wins from the legendary Ladysmith Black Mambazo. He judged by using reason that if being the Greatest Artist in Africa is ranked from Grammy award winnings then SA has the title.
