Big Xhosa: “Cassper Nyovest Would Never Use Me for Clout!”
Big Xhosa: “Cassper Nyovest Would Never Use Me for Clout!” South African rapper Big Xhosa has officially set the record straight in the most heartfelt way, addressing the ongoing public discourse surrounding his repeated pleas for a Cassper Nyovest feature—and reminding the nation that the only ones in the way might be us.

In a recent social media post, Big Xhosa responded emotionally to Cassper Nyovest’s hesitant reaction to collaborating on an unreleased song. The multi-award-winning rapper, Cassper, had publicly questioned whether jumping on the track would result in backlash, saying, “If I jump on it you’ll say I’m using his clout. I’m lose, right?”
But Big Xhosa wasn’t having it. “Cassper has finally responded and it seems like YOU guys are the problem💔😭. Well, all of US as the NATION are the problem!” he wrote. “No one would be using me, guys—I want this!”
In a powerful and sincere follow-up, Big Xhosa dismantled any idea that Cassper might be seeking relevance from him, saying: “Bro, this is Cassper Nyovest we’re talking about—we’re talking about Mufasa here! There’s no way in the world that Cassper Nyovest would need Big Xhosa for clout. It does not make sense.”
He continued by praising Cassper’s longevity and legendary status: “This man has been filling up stadiums since I was in school, and he’s still doing it now. So, to the people who are saying ‘he’s gonna use you’—No. Cassper Nyovest jumping on my song would be a dream come true for Big Xhosa. Do you understand that?”
Ending with a direct appeal to Cassper himself, Big Xhosa pleaded: “I would love to have you on this song—not because you are Cassper Nyovest (of course you are)—but mostly because I believe the record is dope, and I believe in your sauce on it. Please, let’s do it, bro!”
Big Xhosa’s raw honesty has sparked support from fans who are now rallying behind him, tagging Cassper across platforms in hopes of making the long-awaited collaboration happen
