T.I Explains Why He Is Interested In Working With SA Rappers. Last year T.I revealed that he was busy working on a few projects with certain African rappers some from South Africa.
Tip Harris famously known as T.I with the titles of rapper, businessman, producer and activist to say the least has many times expressed taking his craft to Africa.
The American rapper’s interest didn’t just rise out of the desperate need to win the African audience, he stated that African rappers are people whose talents align well with his.
In the list of artists he mentioned the likes of AKA, Nasty and Kwesta as SA Hip hop stars he has a musical connection with. He highlighted that his relationship with them could play part in escalating the status of Hip hop internationally.
“I align my talents with other talented people … I have relationships with Davido, AKA. I have connections and relationships with people in the music industry from Africa,” said Tip on his interview with Boombuzz Kenya.
