AKA Reveals If He Could Ever Consider Being The Mayor Of Johannesburg
In America, Hip Hop fans think Jay Z would be successful in politics. Whilst we are not suggesting AKA is the Jay Z of SA Hip Hop, could he be the rapper to venture into politics for us? AKA reveals if he could ever consider being the Mayor of Johannesburg.
Speaking to Tbo Touch, he was asked if he could consider being Jo’burg Mayor and put music on hold, AKA had this to say. “Nah, I don’t think I could do it man. I don’t think it’s an easy job. To be a Mayor of a City is life consuming. Music is my calling.
AKA says ANC doesn’t pay him enough money to push the movement as much as he does. He does it because he just believes in it.
