PH Raw & Rouge Discuss How Hip Hop As A Culture Contributes To Gender-Based Violence. In all the years Hip hop became more of a culture than just about music, it has left many questioning the effects it has had in society.

Rappers PH Raw and Rouge had an IG interview where they discussed in lengths the negative effects of Hip hop as a culture. The topics ranged from the foul language used in the music to the norms that may have contributed to the rising number of Gender Based Violence.

The interview comes after PH took social media to express how the use of the words such as b*tch have been wrongly normalized in Hip hop.

“DOES THE MUSIC WE LISTEN TO INFLUENCE #GBV ? The reason rappers wore baggy jeans, to skinny jeans, to bulletproof vest is because of rap influence. We treat women like shit in our music, RAP MIGHT BE PART OF THE PROBLEM!”
