American Rapper Pop Smoke Announced Dead After Shooting, Rappers React. US rapper who was just blowing up to the Hip hop scene has been announced dead after suffering wounds from gun shots.
Pop Smoke, real name Bashar Jackson, 20, was at home in Hollywood, Los Angeles, when two men wearing hoodies and masks entered the house and fired multiple shots. According to police sources quoted by TMZ. He was pronounced dead at a hospital in West Hollywood early on Wednesday.
It is speculated that Pop was a target of robbery after Tuesday of this week he posted on social media a stack of money and jewellery. The image showed the exact address of where his home.
The two men haven’t yet been captured yet, one suspect was briefly detained by police but released soon after.
Jackson’s career was beginning to take off. He was listed as one of the most promising young MCs in the US. In his short lived career he collaborated with rappers including Travis Scott, Nicki Minaj, Skepta and Quavo.
