Sjava’s ‘Umama’ Visuals Hits 7 Million Views! One of South Africa’s most celebrated hip hop stars Sjava has set a new record with his hit song ‘Umama‘.
‘Umama’ is a single taken off of the Grammy award nominated rapper’s latest album UMqhele and it is still trending on YouTube almost a year later. The video which was posted on YouTube almost a year ago reached half a million views in less than a week and in a space of just over eleven months it has reached seven million views.
Sjava‘s record label, Ambitious Entertainment took to social media to congratulate their artist on the major achievement. Fans of the artist congratulated him with some requesting more videos from the album.
Sjava’s Umqhele album where the song is taken from got an accolade at the SAMAs awards for the best Afro pop album.
