Solo Announces A Major Stage Name Change! Rapper Solo recently announced the return of The Dreamers ABC’s production to the stage at Soweto Theatre from Tuesday 23 July – 26 July 2020, along with that a new name for all his work.

The production continues to be the first SA Hip Hop story told on stage with the narrative derived from the rapper’s 3 albums. It is a theatrical depiction of Dreams A Plenty; Dreams B Plenty and C Plenty Dreams.

Allow him to reintroduce himself, his name is Solo Ntsizwa Ka Mthimkhulu and that’s how it’s going to be from now on. The rapper you knew as Solo is now going by Solo Ntsizwa Ka Mthimkhulu. All his catalogue on digital stores and streaming platforms are now under the new name. All 3 albums and artwork will now showcase the new name.

“… It was therefore amazingly poetic when I learned, through my initiation, that my ancestral name as a healer was in fact “Solo Ntsizwa Ka Mthimkhulu”. The same Ntsizwa Ka Mthimkhulu who would later on make an album titled “C Plenty Dreams” when gifted with seeing plenty dreams,” he explained.
