Boity Calls  For SA Government To Shut Down Borders Amidst CoronaVirus Concerns that has seen 24 positive cases. This sentiment has been widely shared by many celebrities who are of the feeling our government is not being proactive enough to nip the spread of the virus.

In a tweet reacting to a story reported by News24 about a Cape Town school confirming  that a Grade 9 pupil tested positive for Covid-19, Boity wrote “SA is not taking this seriously enough. We need a shut down.”

The National Institute for Communicable Diseases (NICD) confirmed on Friday that the total number of positive cases is now 24. Ten cases have been recorded in KwaZulu-Natal, 10 in Gauteng, three in the Western Cape and one in Mpumalanga, the NICD said.
