Inside Joe Budden & Jay Eletronica Heated Beef Over Jay Z Collaboration

Over a week ago Jay Electronica dropped his long awaited project an album titled A Written Statement. The best thing about the album was the feature of Jay Z, who contributed greatly to the masterpiece the album is.

Unfortunately not everyone is pleased by not only the project but the fact that Eletronica got to collaborate with Hov. Rapper Joe Budden who is famous for expressing raw unapologetic views shared how and why he was unsettled by the collab between the two.

Joe Budden, expressed how he wasn’t impressed by Electronica’s contributions to the album after waiting decades to receive the body of work. In Budden’s words, Jay Elec was “washed” by his colleague.

“I never heard your albums bro. may Allah bless your career as a journalist,” replied Electronica with some subtle shade.

“I never got absolutely mopped around on my own project either,” wrote Budden in a response to Electronica’s meme toward one of the podcaster’s co-hosts. 

“I took you off yours & it’s a Hov mixtape now… Peace be unto you as well King,” said Budden with some major shade.
