Khuli Chana On How HHP Contributed To The Growth Of His Musical Career. Self-acclaimed Motswako originator Khuli Chana has shared what exactly HHP did to helpe him succeed in music.
Khuli shared a video of the clip taken a few years back where he expressed gratitude to Jabba. In SA hip hop when you mention the name of HHP, Chana’s name comes up as well proving how they’ve both held the flag of Motswako rap so successfully. The Ichu rapper is still treading on the same lane especially since HHP is no more.
A lot of what he has become he expressed how he has the late rapper to thank for. The video shows him explaining how the relationship developed.
“I plan to carry on the tradition, Jabba put us on . I remember the first time I was on Television was because of Jabba. The first time I’ve been into a real recording studio, I am not talking someone’s bedroom I am talking serious art, big mics big everything,” he said on a 1 minute clip.
Chana wrote last year that Planets Of The Have Nots was a dedication to HHP as tribute to his contribution in the game.
