Nasty C On Why He Dedicated Unreleased ‘WUD’ Song To Pearl Thusi! Nasty C is the MVP of hip hop right now as he continues to raise the bar with his Castle Lite Unlocks In Bed live-stream show on YouTube where he performed his new unreleased song titled WUD.
The livestream concert, which was broadcast on Friday, 17 April 2020, where Nasty C and host American radio host and TV presenter,Sway, discussed his song, WUD, which was written for popular South African actress and media personality, Pearl Thusi.
The rapper explained that the song was written approximately three years ago and was left incomplete with Pearl having not heard it up until this performance. Nasty C went in depth, explaining the context of the song, claiming that it was written as an empowerment anthem to Pearl, who has always shown her support throughout his career.
“I never got a chance to finish it. I never put it out. She’s never even heard it. This is just a salute to her… she’s like a sis to me, she’s always been showing love since the beginning and people give her unnecessary sh*t so I made the song for her just to big her up,” Nasty explained.
The lyrics to the song put emphasis on the rapper encouraging Pearl to stand up to her haters as she has worked hard enough throughout her career, so people need to put respect on her name. Fans gave their stamp of approval as the comments where only positive and super fans have expressed how proud they are of the young rapper.
