DJ Double D Challenges Artists To Prove With Certificates That They Truly Went Gold As He Shows Off His. Hip hop DJ Double D has been making silent moves in the industry, some consider him as a come up but the Yeah star has contributed massively in the industry.

DJ Double D has walked his journey in Hip Hop far enough to reach a point of accumulating a gold plaque for his work on Fresh2Def: Hall Of Fame CD single by Les consisting of various artists. The achievement was well proven by D who showed off his Certificate, making him the first Hip hop artist to expose a gold certification to the public.

“Thank you ! Show us the signed certificate from the chairman of RISA !” Wrote Double D.

Double D has also expressed how uncomfortable it is for some OG’s to be pressed at how young artists are winning.

“I’m so excited to see the youngins start to be in the forefront ! Exciting times ahead… I have confidence that we all will take the foundation that the OGs laid for us & take it to the next level. Its time the OGs let go of some control & trust the vision,” wrote Double D.

He also stated that winning for him is more than just about the hype but building and feeding family.

“A lesson I had to learn this year too was that these lists & awards actually mean nothing… The most important thing is that you are able to make a decent living & still provide for your family. You can be on the list or have the award but can you look after your family?”
