AKA Reveals He Didn’t Get Paid For SneAKA Deal!
AKA Reveals He Didn’t Get Paid For SneAKA Deal! When it comes to celebrity endorsement deal, things can get a little hectic because of contractual complications.
AKA came clean about getting the short end of the stick with his deal for Reebok. This after a fan tweeted about his preference of the rappers SNEAKA over the Air Force range.
“Those air forces are fire but the SNEAKA is special because it represents one of our own. And it’s more comfortable than any pair of air forces that I own” said the tweep.
AKA responded to the tweep saying that he didn’t benefit a single cent from the campaign, which caught the attention of literally everybody on twitter.
“Can you believe they didn’t pay me a single cent for this? … not one cent” AKA replied.
According to SupaMega he only had one contract with the brand which was for becoming an ambassador but the SNEAKA deal was all pro-bono as the contract was never made.
“There was no contract. Only my contract as an ambassador. A contract regarding the #SNEAKA doesn’t even exist ” He said.
According to him, At the end of 2019 he was told by the brand that he won’t be renewing a contract because “the brand” was shifting from the Reebok “classic” direction mainly sportswear.
AKA is at peace with the whole deal as he says it was always a dream of his so we guess it’s too late now.
