Emtee Warns Hungry Artists Against Signing Record Deals. After living the worst experiences of being signed to a record label, Emtee warns other young artists to not fall into the same trap.

Emtee began his career as a full on member of the label Ambitiouz Entertainment. In the years of accumulating awards, flexing and travelling – there was a darker side. According to many tweets and reports about AE from former artists, It isn’t a label that has treated musicians fair and just.

Emtee wanted to live but couldn’t because he was tied by the contract he signed. The contract that limited him and gained him nothing in the end. The rapper doesn’t have hid award trophies with him and was never paid for most of his music included Avery album. When he finally departed from them despite what the contract stated he lost his Midrand house and two cars.

As someone with an experience, the Roll Up trapper warned and advise hungry artists to not be like him. This means not taking up an opportunity to get by for that time without considering how it may negatively affect you later.

“PLEASE DO NOT SIGN A RECORD DEAL JUST BECAUSE YOURE HUNGRY. THAT INDICATES THAT THEY CAN PLAY WITH YOU AS MUCH AS THEY WANT,” wrote Emtee.
