How Rappers Reacted To The Brutal Murder Of George Floyd By A White Police Officer. Earlier on this week the world woke up to more news on police brutality to African Americans.
George Floyd, 46, who was killed by police on Monday. Lloyd’s neck was knelt on by a white police officer for a number of minutes on Monday during his arrest. He died while citizens couldn’t do anything but watch and take videos.
The outrage caused major protests, social media mayhem and rage amongst celebrities.
In emotional appeals on US news channels, Floyd’s family demanded justice. “These officers, they need to be arrested right now, the people want justice right now,” Philonese Floyd,George’s brother, told CNN on Thursday morning.
“They need to be convicted and get the death penalty,” he adds.
