Dreamville Signed Artist Ari Lennox Slams J.Cole For Going Off At Noname

Dreamville Signed Artist Ari Lennox Slams J.Cole For Going Off At Noname. After releasing the single titled Snow On The Bluff, rapper and songwriter J.Cole received not just appraisal for his art but criticism for the content.

As much as fans were all up in their feelings for the new release since it’s been a while, some of them didn’t like what the rappere spat about Noname. He didn’t call her out but what he adressed made it easy for people to figure out he meant her.

To begin his verse, the rapper extensively speaks about one woman’s efforts during the protests, criticizing the way she has been approaching the matter and disagreeing with her “queen”-like tone and mentality.

The tweets that followed served as confirmation that he was indeed referring to Noname.

“I love and honor her as a leader in these times. She has done and is doing the reading and the listening and the learning on the path that she truly believes is the correct one for our people. Meanwhile a nigga like me just be rapping,” wrote Cole.

One of the artist signed into his label Dreamville Ari Lennox didn’t react kindly to the song. She boldly expressed views defending Noname from Cole.

“Thank you QUEEN for giving af about us constantly and endlessly,” wrote the Dreamville songstress on Instagram, sharing a picture of Noname. “I feel and appreciate everything you put out to the world. Almost everything you tweet moves me. I need and I am moved by so much you stand for. @nonamehiding thank you for enlightening us queen. I pray more folks will appreciate and understand!!!”
