Chicco Twala Tells AKA To Pay Back The Money

Chicco Twala Tells AKA To Pay Back The Money! Music Veteran Chicco Thwala has recently revealed that he alongside AKA received a large amount of money from Impra and Sampra (SA Music Promoters Association two months ago.

Thwala explained that none of the artists deserved the money and ordered them to pay it back. He highlighted AKA as one of the artist who benefited from such.

“AKA, myself and other artists who received a lump sum from Impra two years ago, should pay back the money because we did not deserve it, as it was way too much. This was done at the expense of other musicians,” said Thwala speaking to City Press publication.

Twala further expressed that he was willing to pay back the money he received. “The auditing process will determine as to how much we must pay back. Some of the musicians have to pay back the full amount because they were not even played on radio during that period,” he explained.

Reacting to the news, AKA’s manager Tshiamo Letshwene said they weren’t available to comment on the matter yet.

“We are unable to comment right now until we get an audited report in this regard.”
