Emtee Confronts Claims About Him Being A Wanna-be Gangster. Rapper Emtee has always been someone who felt the need to explain himself to his fans, reason to this is on the account of how he has been misunderstood.

The Roll Up rapper recently expressed how affected he was by how most of his followers assume that he is a gangster. Judging from the rapper’s Lean drink intake and weed consumption which leads to him giving less care, most people thought he was trying to be a thug.

To clarify once more Em addressed everyone that he wasn’t just some regular joe, the city loved him and he isn’t trying to be anything else but what he truly is.

“I’m loved in my city!!! They show me nothing but love. Rest of y’all gon’ get robbed make no mistake. I’m not tryna be gangster. I was never one. STOP PUSHING THIS AGENDA THAT IM A WANNABE THUG. Try me! Won’t even touch u, the city will,” wrote Em.

The rapper has always shared his struggles one of them is growing up in the rough part of Johannesburg, Hillbrow.

“So everytime I tell somebody my life story they think I’m cappin or tryna be gangster. I grew up in Hillbrow dawg. We r not the same,” he wrote.
