Rouge & Reason Exchange Passionate Views Regarding Tyler Perry’s Hit Movie ‘Acrimony’. One of the latest films to come out which caused major controversy is definitely Acrimony. Almost a year since it dropped but it evokes intense debating amongst women and men.
Rappers Rouge and Reason exchanged their views about the film, the two opposed each other as both supported their points on who was right or wrong between the two.
Briefly Acrimony is a film about a young woman who fell in love with a guy who was struggling financially. She spent 18 years of her life supporting the man who became her husband, he couldn’t get his dream to better his life come true.
In time the woman Melinda portrayed by award winning actress Taraji P. Henson decided to file for divorce. Around the time the man’s dream came true, he got his wealth and handed over the woman money to thank her for supporting him all these years. The twist was when the man gave the life he promised her another woman although they were already divorced.
Rouge stated that the guy was trash for his actions. Reason challenged her point by laying out how the guy wasn’t wrong.
“But she broke up with him cause of all that. ??♂️ and he begged to have her back just as he was bout to blow. And she said no. So he lived that life with someone who walling to wait. What was wack was the girl he chose to live the that life. Sure. But she ended it,” he wrote.
Rouge stood by her point : “Bruh he ask for like 5min. Min time she forgave him through all his bull everytime. He should have kept fighting for her. This nigga decided to give her dream to the same bitch he cheated with. Nah the disrespect.”
Acrimony is a film that portrays part of modern reality hence the overwhelming reception it had.
