When Nasty C announced that he will be dropping a mixtape titled Zulu peopled didn’t know what to expect. Others felt that he would introduce a different sound comprising of Zulu genres while others wanted nothing but his usual sound.

Nasty C didn’t deviate from the usual Hip hop sound nor did he sample genres such as Maskandi, Mbhaqanga and Kwaito. When Boity’s producer Bash Vision shared that Nasty is the man he thinks he is as means of paying him a compliment, certain views rose. A few fans highlighted that it would be amazing if in his greatness he sampled local genres.

To add to the views of Nasty’s style was fellow rapper Rashid Kay who said the Zulu mixtape would have meant something if he sampled Zulu genres.

Zulu mixtape reached over 7 million streams in just two weeks of its release on audiomack. The upcoming project is titled Zulu Man With Some Power, there’s no telling yet if he will introduce some Zulu style.
