Rouge On Why K.O Doesn’t Count As An Underrated Rapper In The SA Hip Hop Industry

Rouge On Why K.O Doesn’t Count As An Underrated Rapper In The SA Hip Hop Industry. After mentioning the names of Solo and Reason as rappers who aren’t getting their flowers in SA hip hop, femcee Rouge shared her opinion on K.O’s part in the industry.

What we have seen so far is that recognition in Hip Hop isn’t easy to get, at times it doesn’t matter how hard you work what matters is the impact you tend to have.

As an artist that started off as a Teargas member claiming all kinds of love and dominance in the scene, one would have thought K.O would have an easy comeback. A downfall from Cashtime set him a few bars back, but he came on too strong with an album PtyUnltd.

The album consisted of singles that led to him dominating charts once more, but last year he was taken aback when he didn’t receive his flowers for a Supa Dupa track. He was nominated for the Song Of The Year at the South African Hip Hop Awards which Yanga Chief scooped for uTatakho.

Despite the loss at the awards the Caracara star had 5 of the singles with his name top the charts and bagged a platinum plaque for Supa Dupa.

When a fan shared that Mr Cashtime wasn’t getting the flowers he deserves Rouge was quick to remind them that K.o is getting all his flowers.

“You think so? I feel like he is fully being recognized. Especially when we talking radio. He is dominating,” wrote the Popular rapper.
