“These awards don’t really mean sh*t,” Nadia Nakai On Being Overlooked For SAMA Nominations

“These awards don’t really mean sh*t,” Nadia Nakai On Being Overlooked For SAMA Nominations. Ever since the South African Music Awards event shared a list of this year’s nominees, a large number of artists were left displeased by the disregard.

One more artist to complain about being overlooked by the SAMAs was Nadia Nakai. She put it out there that she doesn’t measure her greatness through awards anymore.

For years before South African Hip Hop Awards were established, hip hop artists never really had much recognition . It was around those time that they dismissed SAMAs and deemed them unfair. In fact SAHHA became a home that accommodated most artists providing numerous trophies inclusive of rappers such as Nadia Nakai.

“Listen, I know my Album is good… I’ve been around to long to know that these awards don’t really mean shit…. ?? imma keep moving…. always.”

Bragga has won herself three awards, two from SAHHA and one from Afrimma.
