Kwesta’s DaKAR II Reaches A Major Milestone And Makes History

Kwesta’s DaKAR II has reached a major milestone and has made history. The King of African Rap has been in the game for a long time now and it has taken so much for him to get to the point that he is at today.

Kwesta released his first single off the album titled ‘Nomayini’ in the second half of 2015. The record was well received but it didn’t do half as much as his second single ‘Ngud’ which was released in January 2016.

The rapper released Dakar II’s disc 1 in 2015 and then went on to release the second CD this year in February. The album is officially SA Hip Hop’s first certified Gold double disc album. Unlike most rappers Kwesta has not posted a picture of his Gold plaque so we found out via Riky’s tweet!
