AKA Shares His Reason For Not Dropping Deluxe Editions For All His Past Albums. Some say he is confident, some say he is arrogant however it is put he still thrives on his dominance as a one of the biggest hip hop artists in South Africa.

Most artists usually promote their albums after releasing them by dropping a deluxe version which usually consists of additional songs. Deluxe edition album refers to a re-release of an album, generally a sufficient period after the initial release.

When asked why AKA hasn’t done any Deluxe additions for his past releases including Levels, Touch My Blood, Be Careful What You Wish For and Alter Ego which have all attained plaques, he said he doesn’t believe in diluting greatness.

“I have gone over a decade without biting anyone or anyone’s style. My artistic integrity is unmatched,” he wrote.
