AKA On Why His Eyadini Gig Got Cancelled On The Last Minute. Supa Mega was scheduled to perform at Eyadini this past weekend but could not pitch.
It has become a common occurrence for artists to fail to make it to the gigs they have been booked for, the reasons for such differ due to unforeseen circumstances. AKA is the latest entertainer to go under the same issue.
The Jika hitmaker was booked to perform at one of the biggest clubs in Durban, Eyadini but could not make it. Taking to Twitter to apologize he explained that the problem was due to the failure of transport. “Apologies to everyone expecting me at the Eyadini Dundee marquee tonight. There were a few travel ? arrangements that didn’t go to plan,” he wrote.
As expected fans didn’t react kindly to the news since they were expecting to see him perform. “That’s unfortunate bra we even bought the ticket just to keep the megacy going?????if I knew this early I would’ve just slept home by Now shit,” wrote a fan.

It seems this wasn’t the first AKA failed to make it an event, earlier this year he cancelled his Washington DC concert living fans infuriated calling him disrespectful. His manager stated at the time speaking to TshisaLIVE that some plans came up.
“AKA’s sole purpose for his current trip to the US was for his responsibilities as a Reebok ambassador. Everything else was secondary to that. Unfortunately, work for [the] client was unforeseeably extended and he could not depart New York in time to make his appearance in Washington DC,” explained Krystal Thorpe.
