Emtee Shares An Emotional Part Of His Journey That Led To His Solid Relationship With Ruff & Sjava. One thing we all know is that Emtee didn’t have things easy on his come up, he never goes into deep detail of his journey but this time around he did.
Mthandeni Ndevu popularly known as Emtee was born in Matatiele, a village located in the east of Eastern Cape. In his attempts of making a living for himself he left home and came to Johannesburg to start a new life which had many rocky bumps. Living in Hillbrow, the father of two hustled by selling weed without a roof over his head. He showed an interest in music while he was in school where he met Ruff. The two have cooked up so many hits together because their brotherhood goes beyond music.
“When I was in high school my dream was that Ruff becomes my producer one day. Now he my partner and sensei. I wouldn’t be where I am without you big bro. I love you 4L,” Emtee poured his heart out.
He further shared how he started trying out music with the help of SK and Ruff.
“Other kids wanted to be doctors n all. I said I wanna be a musician and Ruff WILL be my producer. I use to go to the studio in my school uniform on just to watch him in action. I didn’t pressure him. I was just that kid keeps to himself until SK let me in the booth,” he added.
