Kwesta Responds To The Backlash Of How SA Artists Reach Platinum status With ‘Little Numbers’. Not many artists have actually went gold or platinum in the SA music industry but it happens to the little few. All this proves is that getting numbers to cook up isn’t easy for most musicians.

A social media user recently addressed artists such as AKA, Cassper, Emtee, Boity and Kwesta who have actually reached the Platinum status, even more for Kwesta and AKA who attained Diamond status. To reach a platinum status, an artist has to gain a total of 30 000 Units in sales. Gold is at 15 000 and Diamond on 200 000 units.

Kwesta responded to a tweep seemingly undermining these numbers.
