Nota Baloyi Gets Appointed As Deputy Chairman of RiSA. When he started sharing his raw views almost on every SA Hip Hop artist, Nota received so much criticism that his musical abilities were overlooked. Now there’s proof that he knew most of what he was talking about on twitter and on interviews.
The highly opinionated Nota who gained more fame as Kwesta’s manager in the past recently confirmed that indeed he has secured a position at RiSA. Briefly explained, RiSA is a Recording Industry Of South Africa consisting of four major labels Sony Music, Universal Music, EMI and Warner (part of Gallo Warner in South Africa).The company is also responsible for acknowledging status awards for album sales.
Nota will serve as a Deputy Chairman of the country’s biggest musical sector. The opportunity actually led to people attaching some respect to his name.

The rapper continued to make claims that he is a kingmaker of SA Hip Hop.
“When it comes to this SA Hip-hop thing, there are few kings. When it comes to rap music I am the king maker. Thee authority. You can take as I’m giving it to you or you can kid yourself. It’s that simple. I’m not about to debate it. I earned the right and I’m exercising it fully,” he declared.
