Speedsta Makes History As First SA Hip Hop DJ To Receive Multi Platinum Certification

Speedsta has a lot to celebrate not only business wise but also with his music as the rapper has just made history for local DJ’s in the local hip hop scene and it seems like it’s only the beginning.

Speedsta took to social media to announce and show off his major milestone as three of his singles and his album have all been certified. DJ Speedsta released his single Mayo that easily became the hip hop anthem featuring Frank Casino, Shane Eagle, Yung Swiss and Tellaman in 2016 and it has since gone one to be certified  9 times platinum.

It doesn’t end there for the DJ because his 2017 assisted single I don’t know also did very well as it to has been certified platinum, not to mention his  Fashion inspired joint featuring OkMalumKoolKat has also received gold certification.

The Metro FM DJ’s star studded album Bottlebrush Street which contained a total of 11 assisted singles has officially reached platinum status and of corse he had to flex the plaques on twitter but most importantly, thank his fans for the loads of support as this would not be possible if it wasn’t for them and he brought the boys to celebrate.
