Zakwe Comments On The Tragedy Of Two Girls Who Were Found Murdered In The Bush KwaMashu. Earlier on the week an image of two dead girls laid in the bush in a township located south of Durban, KwaZulu Natal made rounds online. The authorities intervened but the incident left more shock to the community members.
Rapper Zakwe is one of the people who tended to the matter claiming it happened very near by his home. The rapper expressed shock and sadness revealing a close up image of the girls whose identity haven’t been made public.
“I am here now in Kwa Mashu where 2 young ladies were murdered, izingane bazibulale bazishiya ehlathini ngase Poly Clinic endala, ngase khaya ngqo…Isihluku somuntu omnyama kodwa ?” he wrote.
He went on to urge fellow South African men to try and do better.
“Ay ngeke madoda, nisholo ukuthi akukho nje thina esingakwenza uma izingane nosisi bethu benziwa kanje, NONSENSE phela le manje. South Africa as whole is not safe makunje, nxam!!”
The bodies of the women, believed to be in their 20s, were found in Sigede Road at P-Section in KwaMashu, near a local clinic, about 12.30 on Tuesday afternoon.
“They were found with gunshot wounds to the head. The matter is still under investigation,” said police spokesperson Capt Nqobile Gwala, adding that the deceased have not yet been identified and the motive of the killing is unknown.
