“Love you for life,” Da LES Sends Out A Beautiful Birthday Message To Ishmael. Each day we are reminded of how alive and well is the bromance in SA Hip Hop inspite of supposed hidden agendas. From all the way back to the early 2000’s Da LES has been one of the closest friends to crew mate Ishmael.
After getting together the most successful Hip Hop group Jozi – Da LES, Ishmael, Crazy Lu and Bongani became more than just crew members but went from friends to brothers. For others the relationships didn’t last too good as they faced challenges that motivated separation.
Fortunately for Ishmael and Da LES the relationship grew stronger and to this day they still approaching having each other’s presence in their lives. This was proven with the latest beautiful birthday message the Bag rapper sent out to the vocalist.
In fact, Ish is also included in the features of Da Les new album Caution To The Wind on a song titled Court Room.

Last week Les explained why he and Bongani fell off, leaving him and Ishmael as the only artists from the crew who are still going strong.
“We just spoke on WhatsApp. It’s tough because I come from a skating background and I really fell under the wing of Bongz. I threw myself into the music thing and we had break-ups. I mean Bongz was left because he felt that the label was screwing us and I decided to stay to finish the contract. That broke his heart he felt I may have broken his heart for choosing to stay with the label, I should’ve been riding with him,” opened up Da LES.
