Ntukza Exposes Streaming Services For Cheating Artists Out Of Their Deserved Benefits

Ntukza Exposes Streaming Services For Cheating Artists Out Of Their Deserved Benefits. Rapper Ntukza has recently touched into the topic spoken less of which affects artists in a way fans know little to nothing about.

Former Teargas star Ntukza took to his social media page to explain how the transition from physical Compact Discs to digital streaming and purchasing of projects online led to a loss. The 42 year-old rapper explained that the digital version of accumulating music may have been more beneficial to fans than it is to artists because streaming services don’t pay how they should.

“Turns out this ‘new & exciting world of music’ called Streaming is a cheat. The CD & physical copy world was more beneficial to Artists. This ‘Streaming’ ‘moving with the times’ is all hype!

“Streaming platforms aren’t paying what’s due to Artists, it barely covers the time & money spent working on music. Personally Streaming platforms have no transparency. Food for thought,” wrote Ntukza.

The iLA rapper ended off by stating how the support from fans is not equivalent to the gains of artists due to the platform’s alleged incompetence.

“Fair enough, fans are supporting. They pay a subscription fee monthly, so without question, fans are playing their role of supporting musicians but the bag in backend is sitting with minorities at platforms,” he added.
