Venting her frustration on Twitter (X), Coco Brown voiced her disappointment at the lack of bookings and tagged CottonFest Joburg, urging them to consider her for their upcoming event in Jozi. “I’m getting sick and tired of y’all not booking me!!!! @CottonFestJHB,”😠😠😭😭 a frustrated Coco Brown said.

Coco Brown‘s frustrations echo her ambition to make a meaningful contribution to the culture, as revealed in her recent interview with Drum Magazine. The renowned DJ expressed that despite her nine-year tenure as a DJ, she’s embarked on a new journey as an artist, striving to define and establish her unique style in the SA Hip Hop industry.

“I think it represents my style perfectly, especially where I am now. I’m a radio and club DJ, although trying to discover myself as an artist, I guess I need a bit of time to describe my style where that’s concerned.
