AKA Announces Plans To Buy Back His Masters. After sharing with fans his latest major achievement of having his six musical offerings go Platinum, Mega went on to reveal his plan to buy back his Masters.

Supa Mega may be one of the most successful artists in South Africa but he is not yet the full owner of his art. After having so many successful projects released under Sony Music and Vth Season, AKA hasn’t had the privilege to claim his work independently.

Owning masters is a topic that most artists have normalized highlighting the importance  of having a sole lifetime gain of your sweat and talent. Unfortunately for others, the journey to owning their masters isn’t easy more especially if they didn’t start out as independent artists. Buying back Masters isn’t a walk in the park either but Mega is prepared for the process he announced.
