Nota Explains Why Rashid Kay’s Advise To Big Zulu About Imali Eningi Remix Is ‘Terrible’

Nota Explains Why Rashid Kay’s Advise To Big Zulu About Imali Eningi Remix Is ‘Terrible’. Imali Eningi is currently the biggest song in the country and most people feel it deserves a remix, while others feel the remix might not be a good idea.

Rashid Kay is one of the artists that have been working closely with Big Zulu, he has been supporting the song from day one. Kay went as far as to state that the song mustn’t have a remix because remixes in SA Hip Hop have a very less chance of succeeding.

“Most remixes fail to be bigger/better than the original. Examples: Sebentin, Roll Up, Ama-Million, Baddest…The only remix that was bigger and better was “Amantombazane” remix,” explained Rashid.

In contrast, the ever controversial Nota Baloyi dismissed Rashid’s advise and called him out for being the last person to tell Inkabi on how to handle his career.

“Rashid used to manage Big Zulu back when he’s was on the Hottest MCs panel… This is terrible advice as well as why the homie didn’t crack Top 5 back then or have any hit songs. The man has never had a hit so I wouldn’t take anything he says seriously in this regard. He has no idea how to maximize this opportunity. If you fumble this lucky break you’ll regret not making the most of it,” wrote Baloyi.

Imali is now moving on 3 million views on YouTube with the number one spot on Radio Monitor and iTunes charts, the song is also dominating I’m countries such as Botswana and Swaziland.
